Glam Super Star

Sorry for the lack of updates -again-. I've been very very busy with my job and I had no time for myself. But today at work I took my lunch time to start preparing you a serie of posts -and eat my lunch of course- about the best trends for spring 2012. I'll publish the first post on Saturday, following another post of my serie of models posts.

Until Saturday, you can look at this amazing beauty story published in the January issue of Elle Denmark, for the pleasure of your eyes. Starring the elegant Anne-Sofie List in glittering makeup and rock star hair, it is impossible not to get your attention caught by these beautiful rainbow-hued images.

PS: I currently work on a new layout for the blog (and a new name by the way). Anyone willing to help or share tutorials? Thank you very much!

Eden's Garden

School is FINALLY off for one month (thanks to the Christmas Holidays). After a long and exhausting exams week I can finally breathe and have some rest.

As you can notice, I'm a big fan of make-up and beauty editorials. I found a nice one on Fashion Gone Rogue that I wanted to show you. Maybe it will inspire you for your holiday make-up!

What do you think of the editorial?

PS: I'm preparing a giveaway for you next week :)

Lily Sunshine

I wanted to share with you this fresh and colorful editorial featuring one of my favorite models, Lily Donaldson. I will definitely get my copy of Muse magazine (#26 Summer 2011) and put these pictures on the bedroom wall of my new apartment. Do you have a "fashion pictures wall" in your bedroom, just like me?

PS: What do you think of the blog's new design? Not a major change, but I think it's refreshing.

Hollywood Cowgirl

One thing I've particularly noticed this season, is the Denim/Jeans trend, inspired by the traditional American Cowboy style. It's a trend I like a lot (I bought several denim/jeans items, like the denim jacket, the trendy denim blouse, the jeans ripped shorts, the bustier denim dress and the jeans skirt) I must confess I'm a big fan. All I have to buy, is my own Cowboy hat, but I can't find one that looks nice on me. I like to accessorize all those items with cognac-colored belts and sandals or with biker boots.

To illustrate this trend, I'd like to share with you a Elle Spain editorials, lensed by Santiago Esteban, that will be published in the march 2011 issue, featuring the amazing Hana Soukupova (can'y get enough of this model). I love the fact that they also features fringes, military jackets and cute dresses.

What do you think of this editorial and the trend? (click on the pictures for a higher resolution)

Changes and Tumblr

Finally back to blogging, a little late (ok, let's say it, I'm super late) but finally got something to write. I've been very busy and anxious these days, I'm seriously considering changing my field of study in university (I'm currently studying psychology-counselling, but tried some law courses and drama school a few years ago). I'm still trying to figure out where's my place. Back to law school? Public relations? International management? Fashion (marketing)? Oh and let me add, film studies. Tons of questions, few answers. My friends are almost desperate and so am I.

To ease my pain, I'm doing some online "pictures" shopping. I've always loved looking at fashion or beauty editorials, stars photoshoots, and I've been collecting pictures on my computer since the day I was born [on the internet sphere]. So I decided that maybe I should open a Tumblr account and share it with you. It's called Carolina's Fashion Dreams and I invite you to join Tumblr If you haven't done it yet.

See you soon. I'll keep you updated with my career change, which involves moving to another city.
