Oscars Night: My favorite Dresses

The red carpet of the Oscars is the one I'm the most excited about. A veritable fashion frenzy. Here are the dresses I liked the most. What were your favorite red carpet looks?

Natalie Portman in Rodarte. I fell in love with the color, the cut and the fabrics (violet, drapé and silk are a winning match).

Michelle Williams in Chanel Haute Couture. I simply love her pixie hair cut and I think a short-sleeved dress just makes a difference from the usual strapless dresses red carpet looks.

Anne Hathaway in vintage Valentino Haute Couture. I love the floral appliqué train and the bright red color. I think red is the colors that suits best to Anne.

Reese Witherspoon in Giorgio Armani Privé. The dress is too minimalist for me, but her '60s hairdo is definitely my favorite.

Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott. I like the glitter and the cap-sleeves. She's sparkling!

Halle Berry in Marchesa. Marchesa is always a good red carpet choice. I like the encrusted crystals details, the nude color (I came to fell in love with this trend) and the ruffle tulle train. A+!

Mila Kunis in Elie Saab Haute Couture. Elie Saab is my favorite gown designer. The tiered lace detailing on this lavender gown makes it more original. And her hairdo is simply perfect.

Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuillier. Another sparkling nude gown.

Hilary Swank in Gucci Première. Hilary quite impressed me this time because I'm used to see her in minimalist looks. The sequins and the feathers are a good mix, and I'm a big fan of trains.

My Favorite Golden Globes Dresses

I spent last sunday night listening to the Golden Globes just as some of you have done. I was a little bit disappointed by the fashion choices some actresses made (some dresses were just... ordinary) and by the hairstyles (none of them impressed me, except Megan Fox and January Jones's retro hairdos). Despite this, I enjoyed the show and Ricky Gervais's sense of humour even if it chocked some viewers, journalists and celebrities. I heard he got fired and that his future projects will be banned by the Golden Globes. I think it's just UNFAIR. What do you think?

Here are my favorite dresses.

Natalie Portman, in Viktor & Rolf. I like the rose detail.

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace. Emerald green is definitely a good choice and Brad Pitt is the best accessory you can ever have.

Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé. I like the jewel tone and the puff sleeves. And Copper is even better than the omnipresent nude color (it's has more "punch").

Julianne Moore in Lanvin. I'm happy some dares with a hot pink gown and I just love Lanvin. The golden accessories are a good match. A+ for Julianne!

January Jones in Versace. I've always been a big fan of grecian dresses.

Mila Kunis in Vera Wang. Another pretty one-shoulder emerald green dress with an amazing drapé.

Scarlett Johansson in Elie Saab. There is an amazing work of embroidery one this dress. The cape sleeves are just perfect. A+ for the dress but a Scarlett deserves a big 0 for the hairdo (sorry, I just hate it, her stylist could have done better).

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta. I love the mermaid dress style, with the ruffles, and the color is super cute. Definitely one of my favorites of the night. A+ again!

Megan Fox in Armani Privé. I love the soft pink color, the bandage top and the asymmetrical Swarovski strap. And her glitter heel shoes are just perfect with the dress.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa. Marchesa is always a good choice for the red carpet. This strapless sequin dark chocolate ball gown makes not exception. Olivia deserves a special note for the Christian Louboutin shoes (that we will probably see one day on Lady Gaga or Rihanna).

Carrie Underwood in Badgley Mischka. A strapless sequin nude dress with a train was an easy choice, but it simply looks good on Carrie and it's impossible for me not to like it.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad. I like the idea of a veil with glitter embroidery on the shoulders.

What was your favorite dress?
