Model: Monika 'Jac' Jagaciak

Hey there! Sorry I haven't posted anything before but I had to study soooo hard for my exams. Now that the exam week is finally done I have some time to spend on the blog. Today I'd like to share with you a "part" of fashion that is important to me i.e. models. Fashion wouldn't be fashion without the beautiful editorials, lookbooks, ads, magazines covers and runway shows, thanks to the models (and the photographers of course). So I decided I would make a serie of models posts since I'm almost crazy about it (I almost know all their names by heart and can recognize any of them on every pictures/editorials/ads/lookbooks/covers/etc I see).

I'll start with one of my favorite of the moment Monika 'Jac' Jagaciak a 17 years old -yes 17 years old, Gosh!- Polish model. She first signed with IMG Models in 2007 when she was only 13 years old. In July 2007 she appeared on the cover of French Jalouse and her big break came when she went on to land a Hermes campaign for the Fall/Winter 2007 season alongside Daria Werbowy, beating out 600 other candidates while still in primary school, still at 13 years old. Very impressive! She's been the face of Calvin Klein, Valentino, Alberta Ferretti, Chanel Beauty, Marc Jacobs, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti and much more. As of July 2011 Jagaciak currently ranks 8th on the Top 50 Models Women List by Models.com (source: Wikipedia). She is best modelfriends with Frida Gustavsson. Because they have been seen a lot together during fashion week, fans gave them the name Frigaciaks (source: ILoveMonikaJagaciak.com).
